Make It Travel is a modern-day travel agency that thinks outside the box
when it comes to travel planning.   

We listen, provide expert advice, and then design a completely unique experience for you. We work with amazing travellers all over Australia, and you can learn more about our exceptional trip planning process below.

STEP 01.

The first and most important step in the process is to learn more about what you are truly looking for in the trip. 

As a ‘mobile agency’, we are flexible to work around your schedule. The initial meeting can be done in person at a café, in your own home, over the phone or via email if you are a little time poor. We also have a comprehensive survey that you can complete so we can capture exactly what type of holiday you are after. 

We delve deep into your priorities and interests to gain an understanding of your travel style.  Listening to your wants and needs for your holiday is a vital part of us planning the holiday that you desire. Be as descriptive as you can during this discovery process, and make sure you highlight any properties or experiences you would like us to include. If you are totally open to ideas and suggestions, leave the brainstorming to us!

If you have a specific budget, don’t forget to mention this. A budget means we have parameters to work within and we will find you the best holiday we can inside your budget.  

 
 
 
 

STEP 02.

Finalising your options…

Now that we have an understanding of your holiday aspirations, we do a quick check on dates and availability to make sure we can source what you are after. This can be a time to tweak dates or even swap destinations if price and availability are an issue.

A write up of 2 different options will be presented for you to consider. A quote for travel insurance will be offered so it can be incorporated into your holiday budget.

 

STEP 03.

Planning fees are essential for us to do our job...

Once you agree to go ahead with our services, we will require payment of our planning & management fee. The service fee is the difference between an off the shelf holiday and a completely customised experience.

Our support doesn’t stop once you receive the tickets for your holiday, you can contact us anytime while overseas if you need assistance.

STEP 04.

Time to nail that final itinerary…

This next phase involves us sending you a detailed itinerary and quote with all the extras that make travelling exciting. It will include all our recommendations and the little extras like airport transfers, trains, day tours and travel insurance. We don’t have a cap on the number of revisions, we only lock the itinerary in when you are 100% happy with it.

The booking process will start with a deposit of your trip cost. Then depending on your travels, final payment is usually due 6-8 weeks before departure. 

 
 
 

STEP 05.

Travel Documents like you have never seen…

Our travel documents are something we are pretty proud of!

Your tickets will be presented in a zip-up linen wallet (hand made in Bendigo!) which are designed to be reused over and over again. They are practical in size and will fit your tickets, phone and the whole family’s passports if need be. They can hold all your essential items in one place allowing you to breeze through the airport and onto your flight.

For those who prefer to travel paperless, you have the option of accessing everything you need via an app. Don’t forget to pack a portable battery pack and phone charger though!  For the foreseeable future, we will be including face masks in our ticket wallets. These will be a necessity when flying in the future, so we thought we’d make you look a little trendier with one of our reusable, handmade masks!
